Here’s one of our favorite ideas. Enjoy some of New York City’s best restaurants outdoors – in this case, the cozy and historic confines of nearby Worth Square. Mad. Sq. Eats, the semi-annual culinary pop-up market, is back with stall after stall – 28 in all! – of deliciously inventive fare. From Central Texas-style ribs by Delaney Barbecue to Arancini Bros. Sicilian street food, there’s plenty of culinary happiness to go around. Mad. Sq. Eats operates 11 am to 9 pm, through October 25, drawing New Yorkers and guests of nearby Madison Avenue hotels to munch and mingle. And while you’re there, check out the second oldest monument in New York, marking the military career of Gen. William Jenkins Worth, a U.S. General who served in three wars.
